How quickly can you start?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours. If things are urgent a hospital discharge, something that changed overnight call us directly. We will do everything we can to move faster.
How much does home care cost?
It depends on the type of care and hours needed. Personal care starts from $28 per hour. Specialized and overnight care is higher to reflect the training involved. Call us and we will give you clear honest numbers no surprises.
Is this covered by OHIP or insurance?
Private home care is not covered by OHIP. Some extended health plans and benefit packages do cover it partially. Check your policy and call us we provide detailed invoices to support any claims you need to make.
How do you choose which caregiver comes to my home?
We match carefully. Not just who is available but who is actually the right fit. We consider the client’s condition, personality, language, cultural background and routine. The match matters and we take it seriously.
What happens if I am not happy with the caregiver?
Just call us and tell us. We will fix it quickly and find someone better. We would rather know early than have a family quietly unhappy. No awkwardness just a quick conversation and we sort it out.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes always. We start every new client relationship with a free conversation. No obligation, no pressure.
What areas do you serve?
Vaughan, Richmond Hill, North York, Toronto, Mississauga and King City. Not sure if we cover your street? Just call if we can get there properly we will say yes.
Can I change or cancel my schedule?
Yes. We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations and 5 business days for ongoing changes. Life happens we understand that. Just keep us in the loop and we will work with you.
What if something goes wrong overnight?
Our caregivers are trained to respond and our team is reachable around the clock. If anything happens you will hear from us immediately. You will never be left wondering what is going on in your loved one’s home.
Do your caregivers speak languages other than English?
Yes. We serve some of the GTA’s most diverse communities and we hire caregivers who reflect that. Punjabi, Hindi, Tagalog, Mandarin, Cantonese, Farsi, Italian, French and more. Language and cultural fit matter to us just let us know what you need.
What is the difference between a PSW and a nurse?
A PSW handles personal care and daily living support bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, companionship. A Registered Nurse provides clinical care assessments, wound care, medication administration. Our caregivers are PSWs and support workers. If nursing care is needed we will connect you with the right resources.
Can you start the same week?
In most cases yes. Call us today and we will tell you exactly what we can do and how fast. Do not sit on it — the sooner you call the sooner we can help.
Is there a minimum number of hours per visit?
Yes — 3 hours minimum per visit for all services. It means every visit is done properly, no rushing, no cutting it short. Your loved one gets a full quality visit every time.
